About Me

I am a radiation oncologist at Memorial Healthcare System, where I care for patients with cancers throughout the body, including the breast, prostate, lung, GI tract, central nervous system and head and neck. I have a particular passion and expertise in treating head and neck cancers.

My path to medicine was driven by a love for science and a desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. With a family background in healthcare and engineering — my mother is a family physician, and my father is a computer engineer — I developed a strong appreciation for both anatomy and the technical aspects of medicine. Radiation oncology became the perfect fit, blending my interests in patient care, anatomy, physics and engineering.

For me, cancer care is most effective when it’s personalized. I dedicate time to educating my patients about their diagnosis and treatment options, ensuring they feel informed, supported and truly heard. I believe in patient-driven care, where my role is to guide and collaborate with patients to tailor treatments to their unique needs and goals. My approach emphasizes aggressive treatment to improve outcomes while carefully managing side effects to enhance the quality of life after treatment.

Beyond patient care, I am passionate about research, particularly in head and neck cancers, as we continue to explore ways to advance outcomes in the cancer field.
