I am a radiation oncologist at Memorial Cancer Institute and the chief of Pediatric Radiation Oncology at Memorial Healthcare System. I treat patients with all types of cancer, including central nervous system tumors, breast cancers, gastrointestinal cancers, prostate cancer, skin cancers, lung cancers, myeloma and lymphomas.
My interest in science and technology and a desire to help others inspired me to pursue a career in medicine. Radiation oncology is the intersection of advancing technology in medicine and balances patient care with the intellectual challenges of treatment planning.
At Memorial I provide personalized, compassionate, evidence-based care for patients with cancer. I enjoy getting to know each patient and tailoring their treatment plan to help them achieve their individual goals according to their values.
In addition to caring for patients and leading the pediatric radiation oncology practice at Memorial, I also participate in research to advance cancer care. I have authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications. I also enroll patients in clinical trials, helping them access the latest treatments and protocols close to home.
