About Me
I am a primary care physician at Memorial Primary Care, dedicated to helping patients with their everyday health needs and guiding them in managing chronic conditions like hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol and obesity.
I was drawn to primary care after working in a hospital, where I saw too many patients seeking care when it was already too late — often with multiple chronic conditions that had never been treated. Many of these conditions can be prevented or managed early to avoid serious complications and hospital visits. That’s why I chose this field: to empower my patients with the knowledge, support, and care they need to manage their health. I believe prevention isn’t just good medicine — it’s the foundation of a healthier, longer life.
Building strong, collaborative relationships with my patients is at the heart of my practice. When you come to my office, I want you to feel heard, supported and cared for. I take the time to listen, answer questions and address your concerns. My goal is to help you take charge of your health, reach your goals and feel your best.
Beyond patient care, I’m active in the medical community through research and education. I’ve published articles and book chapters, presented on topics like prevention and obesity, and had the honor of being named Medical Student Teacher of the Year in 2023. I also completed a preventive cardiology research fellowship at Mayo Clinic, deepening my expertise in heart health and disease prevention.
