About Me

I am a primary care and internal medicine physician at Memorial Primary Care, where I treat a wide range of health concerns, from everyday illnesses to chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, thyroid disorders, cancer, autoimmune diseases, heart failure, obesity, erectile dysfunction, anemia and more.

My passion for medicine began with my grandmother, a Navy nurse during World War II, who inspired my early curiosity about healthcare. Later, as a teenager, I witnessed my uncle’s battle with metastatic esophageal cancer. Experiencing his journey, from health and happiness to hospitalization and eventually home hospice, profoundly shaped my understanding of how healthcare professionals can impact patients and their families during life’s most challenging moments.

Before attending medical school, I gained invaluable hands-on experience as an EMT and through a medical internship in Kenya. Living with a host family and working in a small hospital there broadened my perspective on global healthcare and public health. This prompted me to pursue a master’s degree in public health.

I completed my residency training at Memorial during the COVID-19 pandemic, a time that tested healthcare workers in unprecedented ways. I was inspired by the resilience and compassion I witnessed daily and felt an immediate connection with this community. It solidified my decision to stay and serve the South Florida area I’ve come to call home.

In my practice, I prioritize building lasting relationships with my patients, grounded in trust and open communication. I am passionate about preventive care and encourage regular screenings to catch potential health issues early — before they cause lasting harm.
