About Me
Program Director of the Cardiac Critical Care Fellowship
I am a critical care physician in the Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Memorial Regional Hospital. I care for patients who are recovering from cardiac surgery, bypass surgery, valve replacement surgery, heart transplants and surgery to implant a mechanical device.
When I meet patients, they are usually just coming out of the operating room and are extremely sick. I enjoy spending the next few days getting to know them and helping them jumpstart their recovery process. Within a few days, I get the opportunity to see them walking and talking, and looking forward to getting back to life post-surgery.
Throughout my career, I have been exposed to some extreme cardiac cases and a wide range of complications. I look forward to bringing this experience with me to care for the South Florida community.
In addition to caring for patients, I am a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American College of Emergency Physicians.
