Dr. Joel Sandberg is board-certified in ophthalmology. He earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University of Medicine in 1967 and completed his internship at New York Hospital-Cornell University in 1968. Dr. Sandberg completed his residency at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in 1975 and his fellowship at Chaim Sheba Medical Center Tel Hashomer in 1971.
