About Me

I am an OB/GYN high-risk hospitalist at Memorial Healthcare System, board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2001. For nearly three decades, I have had the privilege of delivering thousands of babies while advocating for greater awareness of the unique challenges in women’s healthcare.

Born and raised in Miami, I knew by the age of 16 that I wanted to dedicate my life to women’s health. Without hesitation, I shifted my focus from engineering and architecture to obstetrics and gynecology. I earned my undergraduate and medical degrees through the accelerated program at the University of Miami and completed my residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Nearly three decades later, my passion for this field has only deepened.

For me, every patient encounter is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact — not just on an individual but also on their family and the larger community. I take pride in building lasting relationships with my patients and supporting them through every stage of life. In addition to guiding women through pregnancy and childbirth – with expertise in high-risk pregnancy – I specialize in advanced laparoscopy and minimally invasive surgery to treat complex gynecological conditions.

Beyond patient care, I am involved in medical education and global health initiatives. I have lectured nationally and internationally at hospitals, academic centers and conferences on a wide range of gynecologic conditions and the latest advancements in treatment. While in solo practice in Miami, I worked with Baptist Health Systems’ International Division, traveling to more than a dozen countries in Central and South America to introduce leading-edge technology for minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Many of these conferences were organized in partnership with First Lady’s Women’s Health Events, helping to educate and influence public health officials, medical school administrators and hospital leadership.

Outside of medicine, I am the proud father of five children. My love for this profession is only matched by my devotion to my sons and daughter, who continue to be my greatest source of pride and inspiration.
