Better Together – For the first time ever, Memorial Healthcare System and Broward Health are teaming up. This partnership ensures uninsured and underinsured Broward County adult residents have timely access to healthcare — regardless of their ability to pay.

Building a Healthier Community, Together

Regular healthcare keeps you feeling good and may prevent serious illnesses. In Broward County, a new program called Better Together makes it easier to receive the primary care and maternal health services you need. You receive care:

When you feel sick
For ongoing health problems like diabetes or high blood pressure
Throughout your pregnancy
For other medical needs

Receiving care when you need it can help you stay healthier so you can focus on what matters most to you.

Programs & Services We Offer

Primary Care

Our compassionate primary care providers help you feel your best. They can see you when you're sick, provide checkups to prevent illness and help manage long-term (chronic) health conditions. Think of them as your personal health guides, connecting you with the services and support you deserve.

Maternity and Women’s Health Services

Receive comprehensive support for you and your baby before, during and after pregnancy. We offer many services to keep you both healthy. Services include regular checkups and classes to prepare you for labor, delivery and caring for your newborn. If you face a higher risk of complications, specialists provide additional services to ensure the health and safety of you and your baby.

Chronic Disease Care

Your primary care provider is your partner in managing many long-term health conditions, including diabetes and high blood pressure. If you need additional assistance, they connect you with trusted specialists who offer advanced services that help lower the risk of complications.

Mobile Care, Close to Home: Your Community Health Bus

Our Mobile Health Centers provide free healthcare services to uninsured and underinsured adults throughout south Broward County. We visit different locations every month. No appointment is needed, and there’s no charge for any service provided.

Food Assistance Is Available

No one should have to choose between food and their health. Better Together is designed to tackle food insecurity head-on. We ensure that individuals, especially those managing chronic conditions like diabetes, have access to nutritious meals without sacrificing essential medical care.

By partnering with organizations like Feeding South Florida, we help those in our community find healthy food options so they can focus on healing. When food is accessible, health outcomes improve, and people can lead healthier, more stable lives.
