Interested In Exploring Career Opportunities In Health Care?
Every summer, Memorial Healthcare System offers an exciting, interactive program for incoming high school freshman that seeks to encourage and promote interest in the health care professions.
The Summer Health Career Program is limited to students entering the 9th grade. The program is offered at two locations:
- Memorial Regional Hospital
- Memorial Hospital West
The Summer Health Career Program offers the following:
- Tours to select areas within the hospital
- Presentations by various health care professionals
- Basic first aid/CPR certification
- Babysitting safety certification
- Fun and interactive learning sessions
To qualify, each student must:
- Have recently completed the 8th grade
- Be a resident of the South Broward Hospital District
Interested students must apply and the number of participants is limited.
